Our Mission
Our organization was created to provide families like ours with JRA additional resources for the latest information and advancements in the diagnosis and treatment of JRA.
Our dedication is to our children. Those that haven't made this choice for themselves, but continue to teach us, the true meaning of life and what positive attitudes can do for the spirit.
The responsibility for health care and emotional well-being of your child with arthritis will depend on the parents.
You will be the ones to: make sure they see all the members of their health team as required see that they take their medication as prescribed watch for side effects the drugs may cause help them do exercises to relieve pain and stiffness provide encouragement and support to them and other family members work with teachers and school officials to make sure their needs are met
These wonderful gifts make it imperative that we know as much as possible about juvenile rheumatoid arthritis and it's care as well as the effects it can have on family life. This information provides a starting point for discussion with your child's health team.
Juvenile arthritis on a particular child may be mild, moderate or severe but has the same impact on the parents. We are committed to providing contents in this web-site that will answer questions you may have and tell you a little about arthritis.
This is your site, feel free to contact us and let us know what we can add or additional resources that we are missing.
